Kevin Burkett
President and CEO

 

Kevin spent the first 17 years of his professional career as a journalist at The Philadelphia Inquirer before returning to Logansport to buy the State Theatre. He donated the theatre to the State Theatre Preservation Society in 2017. Kevin is currently the publisher and editor-in-chief of The Network magazine and is a former teacher and city councilman.

Barry Taylor
Treasurer and CFO

 

A graduate of Logansport High School, Barry is a tax preparer and bookkeeper for Baldwin and Company. With a long history in performing arts, having played several roles in both dramas and musicals. Barry brings a mixture of financial knowledge and love of the arts to the theatre’s mission.

Lloyd Knight
Secretary

 

Lloyd has been a volunteer for the State Theatre Preservation Society since its inception. He has served on the boards of a number of other charitable organizations, including the United Way of Cass County and the Kiwanis Club, and has a long history of volunteerism, community support and assisting with fundraising efforts for many causes.

Melanie Kelley
Member At Large

 

Melanie is the owner of Melski's Physical Graffiti. Previously, she spent more than a decade as an event planner and caterer. She is also an accomplished artist and has served on the board of the Cass County Arts Alliance.

Kim May
Member At Large

 

Kim is also the president of the Logansport Cultural Diversity Committee, which is dedicated to bridging the gap between local cultures and advocating for programs and activities that will increase cultural awareness.

Dave Osenbaugh
Member At Large

Dave is the owner of Mix-It Recording in Galveston and serves as the theatre's technical director and primary audio engineer. He has more than 25 years of experience in audio, video and lighting design.

Rich Voorhees
Member At Large

 

Rich is an internationally renowned photographer. He is also a board member with the Cass County Historical Society and a staff member with Owl Music, a nonprofit organization in Indianapolis.
