Kevin Burkett
President and CEO

 

Kevin spent the first 17 years of his professional career as a journalist at The Philadelphia Inquirer before returning to Logansport to buy the State Theatre. He donated the theatre to the State Theatre Preservation Society in 2017. Kevin is currently the editor-in-chief of Logansport's Pharos-Tribune and is a former teacher and city councilman.

Barry Taylor
Treasurer and CFO

 

A graduate of Logansport High School, Barry recently returned home from Arizona and launched his estate and retirement planning company, Intergrated Planning Solutions. Barry has over 20 years of experience in finance and insurance — and a long history in performing arts, having played a number of roles in both dramas and musicals.

Lloyd Knight
Secretary

 

Lloyd has been a volunteer for the State Theatre Preservation Society since its inception. He has served on the boards of a number of other charitable organizations, including the United Way of Cass County and the Kiwanis Club, and has a long history of volunteerism, community support and assisting with fundraising efforts for many causes.

Rich Voorhees
Member At Large

 

Rich is an internationally renowned photographer. He is also a board member with the Cass County Historical Society and a staff member with Owl Music, a nonprofit organization in Indianapolis.

Brandy Kizer
Member At Large

 

Brandy holds a Master of Public Management (M.P.M.) degree from Indiana University Kokomo. She formerly worked for Ivy Tech before taking her present position as the membership and marketing director at the Cass County Y. 

Matt Swisher
Member At Large

 

Matt is co-owner of the Record Farm in downtown Logansport and the record label Failure Records and Tapes. He's a longtime musician, producer and promoter with deep roots in the local music scene.

Michael Delp
Member At Large

 

Mike has served as the facility manager for the State Theatre since 2017. He has helped to maintain the building in addition to assisting with lighting, sound engineering and on-stage production.
